PISTOL-200: Introduction to Defensive Pistol

Introduction to Defensive Pistol is a 2-hour introductory class designed for responsible handgun owners who want to better understand defensive pistol concepts, everyday carry equipment, and safe skill development. This class introduces firearms safety, ownership responsibility, pistol function, malfunction-response concepts, reloads, EDC gear selection, holsters, magazine carriers, and the beginning principles of drawing from the holster.
This class is ideal for students who have basic handgun experience and want a structured introduction before moving into live-fire defensive pistol training. The course is safety-focused and may include dry-practice demonstrations using unloaded firearms or inert training tools. No live ammunition is used in the classroom portion.
